 CANCELLATION POLICY:

I understand that life happens and sometimes you are not able to make it to your scheduled appointment. If you ever find yourself in this situation please call as soon as possible. I do ask for 24 hours notice to cancel all appointments so that I may rebook another client when possible.

Any massage cancelled within 4 hours of the scheduled massage will need to pay 100%  of their cancelled appt immediately and will not be allowed to schedule unti payment is made.  Any client that does not call nor show up for their appointment is responsible for the full amount of the massage.  If you have repeated cancellations or reschedules you will be asked to find another therapist. 

 If you are going to be late please call, if you are unable to make it in within 15 minutes from the start time of the massage your appointment will be cancelled and you will be responsible for the appropriate cancellation fee. If you are late you will get the remainder of your time and will be charged for the full time you scheduled.  Due to increased no call no shows off of online booking, if you are a new client, you  be asked for your credit card information to be placed on file and would only be charged in the case of a No Call No Show.  Thank you for your understanding.

What should I expect?
Whether you are new to Massage Therapy or new to Elite Therapeutic Massage, your first time in can be a little bit intimidating! Don't worry! Then your therapist will walk you to your treatment room and talk to you about the session you are about to receive. Make sure to talk about any injuries, sore spots, and problem areas you are having. Also talk about areas you may want to be avoided. Do you like your scalp massaged or perhaps you do not like foot massage, Just let us know and we will tailor the massage to you! After a brief talk with your therapist, she will step out of the room. At this point you may undress, get on the table and cover up with the provided sheet and blankets. Ask questions but please, respect me and my profession by not asking for an inappropriate service.

Do I have to take my clothes off?

This can be a little confusing and stressful for a new client.  We always want you to be comfortable in your massage. If you prefer to leave certain clothing on, your therapist will be happy to work around whatever you may leave on.  Always, take off whatever is most comfortable for you, after all this is YOUR massage!   

What kind of school does a massage therapist attend?

A massage therapist does have to attend a trade school or massage school.  We are required to take classes such as Anatomy, Kinesiology, General Massage I and II, myofacial release, ect. This introduces a massage therapist to different types of massage, it is up to the therapist what continuing education they take after graduation. A massage therapist must take a licensing exam and hold a state license in Missouri, as well as attain liability insurance to legally practice in Missouri.

Feel free to always ask specific questions about your treatment.  It is our goal to explain to our ability what treatment is right for you.  There are no silly questions in massage, in fact, generally you are helping us decide what treatment you may need by providing additional information about what is going on with your muscles and body.
